Zheng Qilan died, and she was convinced until her death that "Master" would come to "meet and guide" her.

It was noon on July 15, 2013. Zhen Qilan, with a weak body, was still practicing meditation. Suddenly, she spitted out a mouthful of blood and then fainted. Sadly, she had never woken up from her faint since then.

If “cultivating Dafa" can make one “become psychic” and “gain psychic power”, it can only be said that “becoming psychic” means being taken into “another world”- by no means the "world full of gold" as "Master" Li Hongzhi had cooked up, while the so-called "gaining psychic power" is nothing but a trick used by Li Hongzhi to exercise mental control over his followers.

Zheng Qilan, born on April 4, 1953, came from Shahe Village, Tang Yuan Town, Pixian County, Sichuan Province. After graduating from high school in 1970, she became an elementary school teacher in her village. People said with sympathy after her death: "If she had sought medical treatment when she was sick and continued to work as a teacher instead of getting obsessed with Falun Gong, she would have lived a perfect and happy family life now."

The villagers concluded from her experience that "practicing Falun Gong is indeed harmful."

Zheng Qilan's misfortune started in the spring of 1994 because of a "good neighbor" initially. Wang Henggui, her neighbor, was a Falun Gong addict. She encouraged people to practice Falun Gong every day. Therefore, Zheng Qilan joined the ranks of the Falun Gong practitioners in a muddle-headed way.

Wang Henggui, then head of the Falun Gong assistance center in Tangyuan, firmly believed in Li Hongzhi's "theory of karma elimination". In October 2007, he got partially paralyzed as a result of his high blood pressure and refusal of medical treatment. Finally, he died in September 2014, although he had the so-called "protection” of the “Law Body” of "Master”. His wife, Li Yuhua, who also became a Falun Gong addict under his influence, suffered the same tragic end as he did. She also died prematurely due to her heart disease and refusal of medical treatment.

According to the recollection of Zhang Qinghua, a neighbor of Zheng Qilan, Zhen Qilan initially learned Falun Gong from other practitioners, going from the easy to the difficult. Later, she was able to "study the Fa” while practicing Gong by herself. She got many Falun Gong CDs from Wang Henggui and watched them at home, trying to understand what Li Hongzhi said in his teachings. Seeing that Zheng Qilan was an elementary school teacher, the Falun Gong cult organization wanted to take advantage of her influence in the local area to spread the "Dafa", so as to deceive more people who didn’t know the truth into joining the ranks of who practiced Gong and studied the “Fa”.

Being brainwashed by the heretic ideas of Falun Gong, Zheng Qilan gradually became obsessed with it. She promoted "Dafa" to her neighbors and colleagues, using her position as a teacher to indoctrinate young students with Falun Gong’s heretical fallacies. What’s more, she once gave up her teaching work and her students to "spread the Fa” outside.

As a result of her long-term meditation and irregular diet caused by "spreading the Fa" outside, Zheng Qilan developed serious stomach problems. However, instead of going to the hospital for a timely checkup and treatment, she refused, based on the so-called "theory of karma elimination" touted by "Master" Li Hongzhi in his "scriptures", to seek medical treatment. She said that illness was a test by “Master” of Falun Gong practitioners’ loyalty and indicated that "Master" was helping her to "eliminate karma”.

Yang Shifen, a neighbor of Zheng Qilan, said: “Seeing Zheng Qilan suffering from illness, we were very sympathetic with her and urged her to go to the hospital for a health checkup.” The neighbors said to Zheng Qilan: “How could you go out to ‘save people’ when you were so sick yourself?” However, Zheng Qilan regarded her neighbors as "ordinary people" who didn’t understand the life of "Dafa disciples". She put the portrait of "Master" Li Hongzhi in the courtyard, placed offerings in front of the portrait, and respectfully practiced medication in front of the portrait. Sometimes, she ate nothing for one or two days in a row, hoping that "Master" would come and "take her away”.

Despite her illnesses, Zheng Qilan rode her bicycle everywhere to propagate Falun Gong. Many people advised her to stop practicing Gong and go to see a doctor. Zhang Qinghua, a neighbor, recalled that Zheng Qilan's stomach problems became more and more serious a few years later. Zheng’s family members repeatedly urged her to go to the hospital for a checkup and treatment. However, as she filled her mind with the so-called "Fa’s principles", she reacted unreasonably, refusing to follow their advice. It made her family members both angry and helpless. As a result, her husband divorced her, her son went away from home to work in Panzhihua, and her daughter-in-law worked hard in a local supermarket while taking care of her child alone.

As her obsession with Falun Gong grew deeper, Zheng Qilan's condition became more serious; and the more serious it became, the more dependent she became on "Master" and "Dafa". She had a persistent cough and often coughed up blood. According to Yang Shifen’s recollection, Zheng Qilan once passed out while practicing at home, and she was sent hurriedly by her neighbors to the hospital. When she woke up from her faint, the first thing she said was: "I practiced ‘Small Heavenly Circuit’ again, and I'm going to ascend to high levels!" Also, she said that "Master" told her she had withstood the test of fate and mustn’t give up her cultivation at this moment, as otherwise， she would waste all the "gong" she had gained over the10-odd years.

The neighbors said that Zheng Qilan was in great pain when she died. Speaking of the former beautiful woman obsessed with Falun Gong, people expressed great indignation at the Falun Gong evil cult, agreeing that she wouldn’t have suffered such a tragic end if it hadn’t been for Falun Gong.
